Professional Speakers Series

The Sacramento Public Relations Association Invites You...
…to its monthly Professional Speakers Series Luncheon. This month please join us as Johna Burke of BurrellessLuce and Robert Luna of Vocus discuss PR and social media measurement.

WHO: The Sacramento Public Relations Association

WHAT: Professional Speaker Series Luncheon featuring Johna Burke of BurrellessLuce and Robert Luna of Vocus.

WHEN: Thursday, October 29, 2009; registration begins at 11:30 a.m.

WHERE: Sofia Restaurant, 815 11th St., Sacramento, CA 95814 (note: Sofia has its own parking lot in addition to street parking)

WHY:While measuring the results of a communication program is not a hard science, we as communication professionals have to show results and the impact of our work on our target audiences. From qualitative to quantitative metrics, there are numerous ways to compile the data, but compiling the results can be quite time consuming. Businesses, organizations and agencies routinely use monitoring and tracking services to streamline the process and generate comprehensive reports. Join us as representatives from two of the leading national monitoring services, Johna Burke with BurrellesLuce and Robert Luna with Vocus, share their insight on the measurement landscape and why employing some new measurement tools and techniques will be helpful in reporting a successful communications program.

Specific topics to be discussed include:

  • An overview of the BurrellesLuce and Vocus measurement programs
  • How to measure social media presence
  • Strategies and case studies for successful measurement metrics
  • And more!

RSVP: You can utilize the form below to register online. You must RSVP by noon on October 28th in order to receive your meal selection. Drop-in attendees will be offered what the kitchen can provide.
