Social media is becoming more integrated into our everyday lives and as PR professionals we need to be knowledgeable about how to use these social media tools as a further extension of our communication efforts. In this hour long discussion we will cover everything from how social media evolved, to why it's important to use hashtags in your tweets. Additional topics to be discussed include: The evolution of communication An overview of social media tools How to use social media tools strategically on behalf of your company and/or clients How media professionals are utilizing social media And much, much, more!
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Tuesday, June 23 at Noon The cost is $25 for SPRA members and $30 for nonmembers. The cost to all registrants after the deadline is $30. Please pay, at registration, with cash, check, or money order. *You must RSVP by* May 27 at noon in order to receive your meal selection. Drop-in attendees will only be offered what the kitchen can provide. HOW TO RSVP AND SELECT A PAYMENT METHOD : SPRA now accepts online credit card payments via PayPal. Checks and cash are still also accepted, but PayPal is strongly recommended. The PayPal option will appear as a button on the RSVP confirmation window that launches after you submit your initial RSVP information.
