It is SPRA’s mission to facilitate career development and advance the professional reputation of our industry. SPRA encourages dialogue by providing opportunities to meet with others to learn new and better methods of performing our craft, and interact with each other on a social level.

SPRA networking events are a great venue for communication professionals, new to our region, to meet their peers. Plus, our events provide college students pursuing communication and related degrees the unique opportunity to meet future colleagues and employers. Annually, SPRA hosts a spring, fall, and holiday mixer, and a summer riverboat cruise.

As 2009 comes to an end, SPRA wants to celebrate with its friends and provide a little seasonal cheer.

When: Wednesday, December 9 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Where: Sofia on 11th & H Street

Cost: Members Free!, Non-Members $10 (Checks and cash are accepted at the door.)

Please put "RSVP Holiday Mixer" in the subject line and in the body of the email, please include your full name, organization/company name, phone number, e-mail address and membership status. Provide the same information for any additional attendees in your party if you are replying for them as well.

Mix and mingle with colleagues and friends at this annual event. Enjoy the festive atmosphere, complimentary appetizers and chances to win fun prizes (and drink tickets) in our business card raffle - bring plenty of cards!

Also, we are proud to offer a way to give back to the local community: please bring either an unwrapped children’s toy or gift card to the event and SPRA will donate all items to Sierra Forever Families. Please bring toys appropriate to youth ages 3 to 18 and gift cards appropriate for the same. All of those who participate by bringing an item will also receive extra raffle tickets!
