The Sacramento Public Relations Association, or SPRA, provides public
relations professionals with career enhancement opportunities and
advocates for the profession within the greater Sacramento region.
The organization was founded in 1959, and continues to play a vital

SPRA hosts a series of fun and engaging programs, including: a Professional Speakers Series and luncheon held at the Firehouse
Restaurant in Old Sacramento, its annual
CAPPIE Awards gala honoring
the region’s best PR work, a professional achievement recognition
ceremony, continuing education workshops,
networking mixers, and a
student networking and career day.
